Young management VNO NCW appoints Daan Lammers as new president

Daan Lammers (35) is the new chairman of Jong Management as of October 6, 2018. The Eindhoven-based entrepreneur took over the gavel at the annual association conference in Breda from Julius Kousbroek, who is stepping down from the board after 7 years.

The Eindhoven native is the entrepreneur behind the successful international internet agency Laméco with offices in Eindhoven and Cape Town. Daan is a multiple winner of the FD Gazelle Award and in 2007 was already named one of the most promising young entrepreneurs by Sprout. In addition to being an entrepreneur, Daan is a guest lecturer at Fontys University of Applied Sciences and a sailor at top European level. In July 2019, he will participate in the European Sailing Championships in the 18ft class in Italy.

A bridge builder and true team player is how Tessa Ruijgrok, chairman of the selection committee and vice chairman of the Executive Board, characterizes the brand new chairman. "With his entrepreneurship, ambition, innovativeness and social commitment, Daan is a worthy foreman for our association and an inspiration to many.

Chairman Daan Lammers: "To me, Young Management is not a networking club, but it is the very best network you can be a member of as a young entrepreneur or manager. My main goal will be to further develop the visibility of the association and make it known in the target group. In addition, I will work to further shape the connection with the national and regional associations of VNO-NCW and MKB-Nederland."
