Contact forms on Web sites often use reCAPTCHA to prevent spam. This is an anti-spam functionality from Google that checks whether the form was filled out by a person or robot. The best-known example of a captcha functionality is the checkbox that must be checked for "I am not a robot.
Many website visitors experience anti-spam functionalities as annoying because they often show unclear text to be copied. It discourages users from filling out the form or registering for services resulting in a negative impact on the response rate.
Recently there has been a new variant of reCAPTCHA, the invisible reCAPTCHA (or the invisible reCAPTCHA), which eliminates the need to copy codes or sums. This feature works entirely in the background of a Web site, eliminating the need for user actions. Human visitors do not notice anything about this, but robots are recognized and submitting a form becomes impossible for them.
Google does not yet provide many details about how this all works. All that is known is that they use advanced risk analysis technology to distinguish humans from bots.
This invisible security can be recognized by the reCAPTCHA logo at the bottom of a page containing a form.
